Grace reported on her meeting with Jenny Nehring, who is a pool supporter in Monte Vista. Grace said that she will have a follow-up meeting on Tuesday, November 19th at 7 p.m. at Rain Brews with Jenny and Patrick Sewell for further discussion about Monte Vista voters joining our Park & Rec District.
Grace also reported that land is for sale right next to Jack’s Market in Monte Vista. Benton brought up a photo of the land on his computer.
Grace then explained that she has been in contact with Christy Doon, DOLA South Central Colorado Regional Manager. Grace said that DOLA gives planning grants through the Energy and Mineral Impact Program. Grace felt this would be a great resource for the District as we move forward.
